Bloom Botanica by Georg Jensen

Georg Jensen has introduced the Bloom Botanica collection, a world of stunning vases and candleholders to complement the iconic Bloom collection. Designed by Helle Damkjær, Bloom Botanica both celebrates 20 years of Bloom and elevates its organic design language to new heights through Damkjaer's masterful eye for minimalist design language combined with a poetic approach.

The shapes of the Bloom Botanica pieces immediately drew me in. Beautifully sculptural, the designs are inspired by new life emerging from the soil after the long cold Scandinavian winter. With the first sprout or flower bulb symbolic of the moment of creation and a new beginning, the captivating vases and candleholders all feature breath-taking steel leaves that encircle and frame every flower arrangement with a smooth, swirling movement.

Helle Damkjær's design process is fundamental, where everything starts by hand sculpting pure white clay, a natural material she loves and uses in search for the perfect expression. This way of working enables her to infuse cold materials like stainless steel with warmth and a soft expression - Bloom Botanica is a beautiful example of this talent.

"Helle's designs have a soul that clearly comes from the hands of a sculptor. She is able to give steel a softness and flow that is unique and elegant and continues her tradition in making some of the most iconic Georg Jensen collections", says Nicholas Manville, Chief Creative Officer at Georg Jensen.

The Bloom Botanica collection is now available from and Georg Jensen stores worldwide.
