Founded in 2012 by author, interior stylist, and designer Michelle Halford, TDC is a global blog focused on elegant, sensory spaces that are pared-back yet layered with warmth and texture.
Through quality, engaging content, Michelle shares global interior news, inspiring creatives, residential design projects, and more. She has a particular love for Nordic design and, with over 300K followers across social media, has contributed to and been interviewed by numerous publications in New Zealand and abroad. Collaborating with both prominent and emerging brands, she specialises in art direction and styling, and consults on high-end residential projects. Michelle has also expanded into product design, partnering with renowned NZ brand Città and most recently co-founding furniture and homeware brand Vertone. Her new book, The Quiet Home, publishes in February with Octopus Books and is now available for pre-order.
Michelle has travelled extensively for sponsored work, visiting Denmark, Spain, the UK, and multiple trips to Australia for shoots, design fairs, product launches, and collaborations.
