T.D.C: A Beautiful New Finnish Home with Lake Views

As expected I've returned from my trip and dived straight into exciting work projects. At the same time I'm working my way through the masses of photos I took while in Copenhagen! I will continue to share the highlights with you, but I'm also wanting to keep you posted on other interior news and finds that catch my eye. I know how much you love seeing inspiring homes, so I will endeavour to share some over the coming days. I thought I'd get a head start this weekend with a gorgeous Finnish home by boutique housing company Kannustalo. A loft-style townhouse created by interior designer Kirsi Valanti for a family of four, it has been beautifully styled by Susanna Vento and photographed by Riika Kantinkoski.

At one with its beautiful natural surroundings, this home features a warm mix of timber with rich textural accents in velvet and brass. The walls feature a mix of crisp white, cosy beige and fine timber detailing. These provide a perfect pairing with the clean black joinery framing the expansive windows and stunning lake views. The interior has been styled with furniture and homewares across my favourite palette of grey and caramel tones with hints of terracotta and gold. A selection of statement lighting completes the look.
