The Warm Minimalist Kitchen by Nordiska Kök

2.04.2021

Located in Östermalm in Stockholm, an area that is known for its beautiful architecture and preserved design history, the lastest kitchen by Nordiska Kök is the embodiment of warm minimalism. With a soft, tonal colour palette, the introduction of rounded corners gives the space a fresh, contemporary feel while at the same time complimenting the apartment’s history and original detailing.

With its rounded corners, the kitchen counter is comparable to a beautiful piece of furniture. The tonal palette creates a warm feel while contrasting details in black give the room a unique expression.

A cabinet hung on the wall enhances the room's light and airy feeling.

A stunning view from the living room, the spacious kitchen is both calm and inviting.

Providing a beautiful spot to enjoy breakfast and gather with friends, the kitchen island helps to create a modern, functional living space that blends seamlessly with the historic apartment.

A closer look at the rounded corners of the kitchen counter. Similar to a sideboard, it gives the space a contemporary feel.

Carefully selected pieces in black provide a striking contrast against the natural colour palette.

The kitchen is accompanied by Eero Saarinen's Tulip Table and the Capitol Complex Chairs by Cassina.

Marrying the exquisite detailing of the early 20th century with the functionality required for today's modern lifestyle, this kitchen ticks all the boxes.
