Tine K Home | Slow Collection 2019

1.11.2019

Over the last 20 years, Danish brand Tine K Home has released collection after collection with names that reflect the style and mood for each season. This year's Slow Collection centres around honest materials and usable colours for a calm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Shot at the dreamy home of architect John Pawson in Mallorca surrounded by the beauty of nature, the incredible architecture is vast yet simple, with walls that speak their own language with dusty red colours that reflect the soil of the area. As the sun breaks through, the light and shadow create an ethereal setting to showcase the stunning handmade products. I'll let the imagery speak for itself...

My favourite elements of the new collection are the earthy-toned textile products, rattan and bamboo furniture, woven baskets, ceramics and clay pots. I also love the metal furniture collection which includes tables, metal stands, cabinets and clothes racks. Hand crafted with natural materials, the pieces have a beautiful textural quality, while the warm tones and rustic finishes look incredible against the fresh white textiles of the sofas.

Such serene imagery, the new collection speaks of beautiful moments that need to be enjoyed slowly. I'd like to be transported to that poolside setting right now!

  1. Wow, these images brought me back to my childhood. My godmother had the most beautiful rattan chairs and woven baskets and remember how I loved making centerpieces with her from hay and dried flowers... Such beautiful imagery for a great concept!
