Australia is one of my favourite countries to visit, but there are so many places I have yet to see. Once such place is Tasmania, and where better to stay than the beautiful Piermont Retreat. Framed by wild forest and cradled by a glimmering bay, Piermont is a sanctuary of understated luxury hidden in Tasmania’s remote East Coast. Now accommodating those who want to stay a little longer, the retreat is creating a series of secluded Waterfront Properties. Working with highly-awarded architects JCB and revered studio Hecker Guthrie, the properties are designed to harmonise with their serene environment, providing a restful, contemporary lifestyle in a rare corner of the Freycinet Coast.

Owners can also enjoy all the amenities provided by the retreat's luxury accommodation, including the swimming pool, tennis court, private beaches and walking trails, and the award-winning restaurant Homestead pictured below. Situated in a casually elegant setting beside the bay, the stunning restaurant offers authentic dishes crafted with the freshest local produce.
Here's a peek inside one of the charming Piermont Cottages. To find out more about the guest suites, take a look here.
