THE DESIGN CHASER

The Flooring Foundation x Stolen Girlfriends Club | Bespoke Rug Giveaway

9.02.2016

If you were lucky enough to attend this year's NZ Fashion Week, you mostly likely saw the venue's K 1664 Lounge Bar, which was curated by Stolen Girlfriends Club. In partnership with NZ fashion Week sponsor The Flooring Foundation, the fashion brand created some bespoke rugs using a cult design from their jewellery packaging. A personal fan of this design - I currently have one of their jewellery boxes sitting on my desk - it's exciting to see it come to life on carpet.

The Flooring Foundation offers the very best in flooring products from Godfrey Hirst and Feltex, who as world leaders in carpet and hard flooring, are at the forefront of innovation, trends and quality. The rugs showcase the ability of the Godfrey Hirst Designer Jet technology, which allows an infinite array of designs and colours to be printed on carpet. A fantastic way of personalising a work space or home, this brings an exciting new dimension to interior design.

“Godfrey Hirst’s Designer Jet has allowed us to literally design the whole room from what hangs on the ceiling, to furniture, bar design, planting and now flooring”, says Dan Gosling, Director, Stolen Girlfriends Club. “It allowed us to bring our full vision of the space to reality”.
