A few weeks ago I attended the first NZ H&M open house, a preview to the long-awaited store opening this Spring in Auckland. Opening with the H&M AW16 Studio collection for women, I was excited to get a glimpse of this beautiful range. Of course I'm also hoping that the H&M Home collection will follow suit and arrive here at some point! I love the look of their bedding and smaller accessories which fit so well in a muted colour palette alongside natural materials. Here's a taste of what's coming next season.
Unique and industrial, I love the Roly-Poly Chairs and Table and Spade Chair by British designer Faye Toogood. Shown here in a refurbished Georgian guesthouse, they are part of a "curated residence'' by London fashion store Hostem. Sitting alongside furniture by Pierre Jeanneret, Max Lamb, and a range of homewares, the pieces can be purchased by visitors who rent the house, at the end of their stay. See the full house tour here.
Cereal Magazine have just launched their Copenhagen Guidebook and to celebrate, they hosted an event at the Muuto showroom. A stunning setting for the new guidebooks, they were showcased amongst a curation of Muuto furniture and products. With beautiful attention to detail, they included a series of fine art prints featuring photos from the guide, mounted on the surrounding walls of the showroom. The guidebook is now available to order here.
