This post had been in the plans for a while, but seeing these stunning images by London-based photographer Jake Curtis yesterday made me realise I couldn't wait any longer. One of the UK's leading interior photographers, his portfolio includes compelling dining, still life and and tablescape images. Known for his 'meticulously crafted lighting' Jake captures the spaces with extreme clarity and attention to detail. I can't help but be inspired by the gorgeous tableware and beautiful styling.
While I'm no gourmet cook or avid entertainer (relaxed summer barbies are more my style) I love ceramics and serveware. I'm always on the lookout for pieces that are stylish but can still be used everyday. Pure white will always be timeless, but marble and wood are also high on my must-have list right now. Here are some gorgeous examples.
Beautiful Marble Porcelain dinnerware by H&M. If only we could get it in NZ!
A selection from the lovely French Country Collections' summer 2015 range, beginning to land in stores now. For stockists, take a look here
I'm a big fan of Auckland store Nest, who have an extensive collection of European kitchen and tableware, as featured recently in this post
I couldn't possibly do a tableware post without including sought after Danish brand Menu who have an incredible range of kitchen and dining products. A selection available in NZ from Simon James Concept Store
