Check In | Story Hotel Stockholm

7.03.2012

Story Hotel is situated in the business centre of Stockholm surrounded by the best shopping, nightlife and culture the city has to offer. Its contemporary feel and location attracts both business and leisure travellers who appreciate great design, an upbeat bar and restaurant, the comfort of easy living and efficient service. These are certainly important features when looking for a hotel but all that aside, it just looks like so much fun! Check out these images and you'll see why.

Interior Design

Inspired by the run down restaurants of New York and the chic avant garde hotels in Paris, the interior design of the Story Hotel is in keeping with its previous life when it was home to progressive musicians and artists. Urban and intimate 'with a jazzy soul' there is no other hotel quite like it in Stockholm.

The Rooms

Described as 'rooms with style, soul and comfort' they are available in three sizes and twelve different types. With something to suit all tastes and travellers, I think this one below would suit me just fine!

The Story Kitchen and Bar

Despite its super stylish, retro modern interior, the restaurant is relaxed and unpretentious. 'The menu is appealingly fresh and eclectic with stimulating dishes and flavours from across the Globe.' For after dinner entertainment the Parisian salon inspired Bar provides a jazzy vibe with DJ's and live music. Not only popular with its guests, the bar is a regular meeting place for Stockholm locals.

The Shop

'Herr Judit', a Södermalm based vintage store is also at the Story Hotel. It stocks a range of vintage clothing, accessories and things for the home.

The Art

The unique design of Story Hotel is further enhanced by the art that is showcased throughout the main areas and guest rooms. A collaboration with Wonderwall art dealers means that many of the pieces have been especially created for the hotel itself, including signed limited edition prints.

And a new Story Hotel is in the works....
