THE DESIGN CHASER

C+M Studio

10.28.2014

I hope everyone in NZ enjoyed the long weekend. We had the most beautiful weather on Saturday, but then it turned cold and I came down sick yesterday. Luckily I had this one up my sleeve from last week,  but I may be laying low for a couple of days, so please forgive me if I miss a post.

Based in Sydney, C+M Studio was founded in 2012 by Christopher Glanville and Megan Burns. Creating beautiful spaces for residential and commercial clients, their design ethos centres around a belief that beauty can be found in simplicity. Recently completed, The Cross Street Project is a stunning renovated home in Bondi, Sydney. Now up for sale, Cross Street is a unique concept in that you can either buy the apartment empty, buy it with everything in it, or shop the amazing items that fill the space! Much like all of the C+M Studio projects, the spaces exude warmth, comfort and the kind of pared-back elegance I love.

I've picked out a few more of their inspiring interior spaces from past projects. Once again, there is focus on natural materials and layering of tone and texture. I love the beautiful dark wooden floorboards, french doors and plants in the first home, while the linen bedding and incredible marble bathroom are standouts in the second.
