Ethnicraft was established in Antwerp more than 25 years ago by two friends, Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse. Quickly finding its identity, today the brand continues to broaden its creative palette, developing and extending a collection that remains true to character with beautiful furniture and decorative objects designed as foundations for the home. For their latest collection, they have expanded on their range by introducing some of their beloved essentials in unique finishes and fabrics, as well as new products designed to bring comfort for the change of season.
The collection sees the introduction of wall art with the new Layered Clay collection. Mineral pastes are applied by hand in different compositions, resulting in a captivating display of earthy colours and textures. Beautiful as a statement piece on its own, or arranged in a pair or grouping, the artwork above has been paired with the new sideboard, an addition to the Roller Max collection.
Always on the lookout for sculptural accessories, I love the new range of Book Ends. The PI book ends, designed by Alain van Havre, honour nature with strength, curves and lines, and are finished by hand, ensuring respect for the individual character of the wood.
The Grooves book ends are also hand carved, making each piece truly unique with its own rhythm and dynamics. Available in three finishes, these book ends complement the wider Grooves collection.
A new range of Poufs for both indoor and outdoor use add style and comfort to the home, as well as a surprising colour pop to enhance neutral décor. Indoor colourways for the Barrow poufs include off-white, ginger and copper fabrics, and Outdoor colourways for the Donut poufs include Mocha, Marsala and Natural-checked fabrics.
The ever-comfortable N701 sofa is now available in an upholstery featuring recycled cotton from the fashion industry. Refined and luxurious, the new Graphite textile is Italian-made and features a technologically advanced flat weave, woven to allow movement in the cloth, which brings depth to the fabric’s surface.
The iconic oak Bok dining table and chairs, as well as the popular Corto dining table, are now available in a brown-tainted varnish finish. A great midway option alongside the natural varnish finish and the black varnish finish, the warm-toned wood shows the beautiful character in the grain.
The Mahogany PI wall shelves showcase the masterful work of Ethnicraft's skilled artisans. Interesting shapes are discovered in the sleek, 'polished imperfect' finish. Available in three different shelf options, these allow you to play and combine as you wish to create the most stylish storage solution.
