I'm back in the office today after working on site at the Hilton in Auckland, while liaising with the Hilton in Taupo and Queenstown for this exciting project. I promise I'll share some photos of the Hotel du Marc inspired rooms I curated very soon! The project has also brought with it some fun media opportunities, including this interview I did on Radio Live last weekend. I really enjoyed chatting to Carly Flynn about my business and how social media plays a big part. TDC turned 5 this year and it gave me the opportunity to stop and reflect on my incredible blogging journey so far. I never imagined I would be given the opportunity to travel to Denmark (and soon to Spain), or be collaborating with companies like the Hilton. The interview, which was titled 'Turning your hobby or passion into a career', is online if you'd like to have a listen. I was also interviewed by Stuff.co.nz yesterday, during which I was asked about my top interior trends for 2017. Those that immediately sprung to mind were velvet, earthy tones, organic forms, textural pieces and rattan. Today I came across the brand new Tine K Home AW 2017 catalogue, and I love that the beautiful Lake Collection encompasses all of these elements. As always, the products are styled to perfection, providing plenty of cosy inspiration. I've picked out some of my favourite images from the catalogue to share with you.
