Homes to Inspire | A Former Factory in Copenhagen

2.29.2016

Previously an old factory, this building in Copenhagen has been transformed into a bright and spacious home. With large open-plan rooms and high ceilings, the space has a gallery-like feel, perfect for the owners who are an art loving family. White floors, ceilings and walls provide the ideal blank canvas for their extensive artwork collection, and in the living area they have devoted an entire wall to the works of Rasmus Nellemann, Simon Lindhardt and Cathrine Raben Davidsen among others. Iconic Scandinavian designed furniture and lighting feature throughout the home, from iconic brands such as Fritz Hansen and Arne Jacobsen.

A truly unique home that cleverly integrates work and leisure, I love the office space with its floor to ceiling shelving and kayaks having on the wall. Providing plenty of natural light, the huge skylights that feature throughout the home are also a standout feature.
