I'm very late in getting a post up today, mostly due to the juggling act of school holidays! I've also been working on some other exciting blog-related stuff like giveaways and interviews, which I'm looking forward to sharing with you in the next few weeks.
I've been admiring the work of design studio INTSIGHT for a while now, and when I came across some amazing new work by them recently I decided I couldn't wait any longer to share it with you.
Based in Barcelona, INTSIGHT specialise in branding and interiors, working with architects to inspire, create concepts, develop ideas and define spaces. I love their aesthetic which is a culmination of simplicity and elegance, clean lines, plenty of white, and strong visual elements.
Brilliant art direction, together with the beautiful natural textiles of global company Milkmax, has resulted in a visually stunning re-brand here. The combination of grey and chunky wool gets my heart racing.
Gorgeous lighting, herringbone floors and a monochrome palette are my fave features of this fashion store Auka...
These next images are of B, 14, a contemporary art club in Barcelona. Comprising an office area, workshop and library space, INTSIGHT also did the styling for the photo shoot, which I love. If this doesn't encourage you to de-clutter and tidy your workspace, I'm not sure what will! The black and white photo adds a cool, edgy touch.
Finally, B22 is a residential complex in Barcelona with more than 250 homes. One of the first INTSIGHT projects to do the rounds on the web, the pared-back whiteness and simple wooden framework gets me every time. Oh, and it probably goes without saying, but those wishbone chairs are divine!
I had a nice surprise this week when I found out that Rachael over at the lovely lifestyle blog Made From Scratch had included me in her fave websites in the latest issue of NZ House & Garden. A regular column in the Art, Books & Blogs section, it's a great issue so grab yourself a copy and see who else she picked!
I'm now about to rush out the door to attend the opening of the Mildred & Co Showroom! I'm working on something with them to share with you mid-August so stay tuned.
Hi Michelle. What fab styling. Love the image with the pops of coral. Looking forward to seeing what's up and coming on the blog. Yes I would have loved to have made the Mildred & co evening but distance seems to prove a problem!! Enjoy. Amy x
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. It was a great night - amazing showroom and a fun night catching up with friends. If you ever come up to Auckland you must visit! x
DeleteSo much exciting stuff happening for you :) It's tricky with school holidays, I had an extra busy day y'day with 4 young girls to entertain.
ReplyDeleteThese images are beautiful, so simple and tasteful. Love, love, love that ocean photo in pic 1. x
Isn't it? I've got four right now! Glad you like the work of INTSIGHT - the ocean pic is so you x x
DeleteAll the stuff whatever you have posted outstanding. Interior plays an important role to make any place alive. Interior is all about the creativity and your choice. I am really gone a take some suggestion from you. The photograph which you posted looks natural.
