To tie in with Friday's post, which featured Swedish real estate site Alvhem Mäkleri & Interiör I thought I'd show you one of their current listings. This apartment in Stockholm immediately caught my eye. Bright colour has been tastefully added to the all white interior through a gorgeous mix of furniture and homewares. The living space is my favourite area of the home. Spacious and airy with lovely large windows, I love the white sofa with it's bright cushions and throw.
The living area also features a vibrant collection of wall art and a unique pendant light made up of a cluster of vintage lampshades. Cute matching coffee tables with bright blue tray tops are both practical and stylish.
Beautiful pale wood flooring runs throughout the apartment. Vintage boxes make great bookshelves.
A lovely little workplace is set up in the corner of the room. I can't go past a pale wood and white trestle table like this one, and the green chair adds a bright pop of colour. I also love the lamp and string of postcards and prints on the wall above.
Double doors lead to the light-filled bedroom. The colours are softened in here, with muted shades of pink and inky blue. A gorgeous headboard mimics the flooring.
The kitchen has been nicely renovated with simple white cabinetry and waxed concrete benchtops.
The colourful theme continues along the hallway. Built in cupboards and wall hooks provide plenty of storage.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend. We're having a busy one, out and about catching up with friends and enjoying the beautiful weather. Long may it last!
I'll see you back here tomorrow for another dose of design love!

I just love the lamp ensemble in the living room!!! Also can never go past vintage crate storage, I'm waiting for the day to be able to safely put one together so that little hands done pull them down. Enjoy your Sunday:) Mel
ReplyDeleteI hear you - not the most kid-friendly option, but one day! x
DeleteI love the apartment, rather large by Swedish standards. I was wondering what white they used? Do you think it's a black white? All this white is making me change my mind about painting my room Resene's Friar Grey!
ReplyDeleteIt's 70 square metres - huge living area! Yes, I would say black white which looks amazing, but grey is also lovely! x
DeleteMy favorite from this home is the light blue pendant lamp over the dining table - it looks just so beautiful and caught my eye right away.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anu. I always remember that beautiful blue themed post you wrote when we first met through BYW!! x
DeleteThanks for stopping by Kasia - glad you like the post x
