Fast becoming Auckland's most exclusive shopping destination, Britomart has recently welcomed three of New Zealand's iconic fashion houses to it's Tyler Street precinct; Zambesi, WORLD and Kate Sylvester.
WORLD’s new luxury flagship store at Britomart showcases collections that are all proudly handmade in NZ. The internationally renowned WORLD, WORLD Man and WORLD Couture ranges certainly impress, as does the eclectic store interior which combines antiques, religious relics and taxidermy. So much eye-candy!
Tyler Street Zambesi, is the only store to carry a full range of Zambesi womenswear and menswear. Not only that, the flagship boutique carries a carefully selected range of other designers alongside the Zambesi label. These are Nom*D, Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Complex Geometries, Acne Menswear, NDC Shoes and LD Tuttle Shoes.
The Kate Sylvester Britomart boutique stocks full collections of both Kate Sylvester and ‘naughty little sister’ label Sylvester, as well as Kate Sylvester eyewear, shoes and other accessories.
I especially love the interior of this store which has a mix of industrial features like non-treated concrete pillars and ironwork ceiling panels, mixed with soft blond wood fittings and pretty pastel colours. The design of the boutique reflects the collections which "explore contrasts and incongruities".
