Trend Exhibition by Lotta Agaton

This week's furniture fair in Stockholm has brought the usual flurry of images being shared on blogs and social media. I can't help but feel a little envious, wishing I were there in person to see what my favourite Scandinavian brands are showcasing for the year ahead. If you've been following, you will have no doubt caught a glimpse of the Trend Exhibition created by stylist Lotta Agaton. Styled as an apartment, Lotta says " I wanted to create a space with no set rules and inspire people to play more with what they already have and use new materials, colours and textures". Using contrasting materials and colours in unexpected ways, Lotta shows us that a room and its furniture can 'behave in a new way" just through changing the wall colour. For further insight into Lotta's process and styling, take a look here

A new discovery, the beautiful petrified wood tray Lotta used in the kitchen is by Stockholm-based brand Odem Atelier

Chosen for their clean lines and timeless design, the lighting, furniture and products used by Lotta Agaton are all stunning. I've picked out a few of my favourite pieces.
