Citta Design | Winter 2015 Preview

Attending the Citta Design Winter 2015 launch yesterday, deco deco - inspired by the city of Paris - left me buzzing with excitement. Located inside a Silo at Wynyard Quarter, the concrete interior made a striking backdrop for the new collection. Refined and elegant the luxe textures are enlivened with a signature floral, embellishments inspired by beading, and touches of platinum metallics. The delicious palette pulls together black, charcoal and limestone white, with accents of mustard and larkspur, lilac, rose and caper.

I really love the textile products which feature gorgeous graphic cushions, bold geometric bedlinen and striking wool rugs. The beautiful timber furniture and matte powder-coated lighting will appeal to anyone who appreciates clean, contemporary design. Then there are the clever new Lean-to Bedhead/Hanging Racks, which are available in two designs, one rounded and one square. So taken with their clean lines and versatility, I've been studying the catalogue to see all of the fun ways of styling them!

Newcomers to the Citta Design team include fashion designer Julia Fong, who has created a chic capsule collection, and furniture designer David Moreland. who has created a beautiful edit of furniture and lighting pieces for the collection.
