Nordiska Kök Opens a New Concept Showroom

10.01.2021

Regular readers of TDC will know how much I love sharing the latest projects by bespoke kitchen producer Nordiska Kök. Each one different, yet equally inspiring, the kitchens showcase a timeless, Nordic aesthetic with stunning materials and thoughtful design solutions for the modern lifestyle. Beautifully styled and photographed, the kitchens make a huge impact online, which has resulted in Nordiska Kök having one of the world’s largest Kitchen accounts on Instagram with over 140K followers. Wanting to give customers an opportunity to experience their kitchens in real life, they have taken the next step by opening a new Concept Showroom.

A bespoke minimalist kitchen crafted with locally cut Norrvange limestone, open shelves in stained oak, and a matching island.

The handmade dining table and chairs from BRDR Krüger are designed by David Thulstrup for the Noma restaurant in Copenhagen.

Wood cabinetry and the beautiful F chair by BRDR Krüger bring warmth to the lemon ice granite worktop, which is divided into two levels for use as both a dining area and workspace.

“We want to invite our customers to our world. They should be able to take the step from Instagram straight into our Concept showroom and experience the same feeling of inspiration that we offer in our social channels”, says Johan Lundkvist, founder and Creative Director of Nordiska Kök.

Located in Stockholm, the showroom presents a range of kitchens designed by Nordiska Kök and styled by renowned Danish stylist Marie Graunbøl. Marie has handpicked details from her favourite brands including Apato Ceramics, Sabre Paris, StudioX, Tadaima, Blomus and Broste Copenhagen, among others.

The light oak gives the entrance a true Scandinavian touch. Paired with textural limestone and styled with Hasami porcelain and the BRDR Krüger ARV chair

Decorated in collaboration with the Danish stylist Marie Graunbøl, the kitchens feature carefully curated pieces made from natural materials including ceramic, wood and glass.

All of the Nordiska Kök kitchens can be customised in terms of  size, color and materials to create a truly bespoke aesthetic.

Each wooden kitchen is available in a variety of different stains depending on preference.
