I was very excited to see the new ferm LIVING Autumn/Winter 2016 catalogue Subtle Dwelling in my inbox this morning. Diving in for a look, I'd have to say this is my favourite yet! The collection features a strong minimalist aesthetic with beautiful, functional and well-designed lifestyle accessories and furniture. The seasonal colour palette which features splashes of rust, earthy tones and muted pinks and browns immediately drew me in, as did the stunning new furniture and lighting pieces.
Some of my favourites include the Mingle Table which allows you to pair a table top with trestle legs in a choice of six colours, and the new Herman Lounge Chair. An extension of the existing Herman chair series designed by Herman Studio, it has a lovely low design and generous oval base. What's more, the backrest has been designed to wrap around the body to create maximum sitting comfort. Joined by the stackable Herman Stools, these feature a classic silhouette in a range of gorgeous colours.
Another headliner for this season is the Collect Lighting Series. An innovative concept, the designs allows you to pick and choose from lampshades, socket pendants and decorative brass rings to create your favourite look. In terms of textiles, art and accessories we're going to be spoilt for choice. Of course I'm drawn to all the ceramic pieces but I'm also loving the bold patterns of The Abstraction art prints and Colour Block cushions.
Visit ferm LIVING to view the entire living collection and browse the catalogue. There's also a separate Kids AW 16 Catalogue Caught in the Moment which I have yet to get to but I know it will be equally amazing!
