I love the natural element that fresh flowers and plants bring to a space and as such, they are a common feature in my styling work. Instagram followers will have seen the beautiful Bloom Social flowers and products popping up in my feed a lot lately, but for those in Auckland who haven't yet caught on, I'm going to tell you all about their wonderful service.
Three days a week Bloom Social select beautiful seasonal blooms and put together their Blooms of the Day. These are then revealed on Instagram and Facebook, and shared directly with their email subscribers. Taking orders from 10am till 1pm, or until the blooms sell out, they then head off to deliver the stunning bouquets around Auckland CBD and selected suburbs.
For added convenience, you can purchase a Blooms Subscription, and have the Blooms of the Day delivered either weekly, fortnightly or monthly at a special subscription rate. The perfect treat for you or someone special, I'm very lucky to have been given a fortnightly subscription up until Christmas. My Friday arrival ensures I am set for the weekend and I have flowers at the ready for any styling projects I'm currently working on.
Aside from this truly unique service, what I believe really makes Bloom Social stand out from the crowd is their overall style and attention to detail. Differing slightly to that of standard florist bouquets, the Blooms of the Day have a relaxed, freshly picked from the garden look which is really refreshing. The perfect fit for my styling aesthetic and home, the soft tonal palette is designed to work beautifully in any interior. Carefully wrapped in crisp white paper (the blue paper above was for a special collaboration) I love the balsa wood label and personalised leaf tags. Bloom Social are also working on keeping wastage to a minimum by recycling any leftover flowers and working them into beautiful handmade products. Providing the perfect little add on to go with their Blooms of the Day deliveries, the hand-poured Vanilla Bean Soy Candles are divine.

Bloom Social have also started to introduce a selection of Potted Botanical gifts, such as the Potted Philodendron in my office above. You'll also find the Blooms of the Day at Father Rabbit. To find out more about the service, including delivery areas take a look here.
