A collaboration between husband and wife duo Hannah and Greg Straight, Duett Design is a NZ based brand specialising in contemporary art prints. Many of you in NZ will be familiar with Greg Straight, who is well known in the art and design world for his strong use of vector and bright hues. When his wife Hannah got in touch regarding their new venture, I was excited to see that the prints had a Scandinavian influence and was curious to hear how this new idea took shape. It was in fact pretty simple. Hannah wanted to create some pieces to work in with the style of their own home, so turned to Greg to help her out. A success not only for them, it got friends and family talking. Before they knew it, Duett Design was born!
When working together on Duett Design, Greg takes direction from Hannah’s ideas and brings them to life with his sought after design skills. In addition to Scandinavian design, the brand takes influence from modern retro with a strong geometric edge. With five gorgeous collections already in production, the Minimal collection is a perfect fit for my home's Scandi aesthetic. Consisting of eight prints in total, I picked out some favourites to style.
