When I stumbled across an image of the kitchen below while browsing the web, it stopped me in my tracks. The clean, contemporary style showcases incredible architectural detailing and beautiful finishes. Itching to see more, I tracked down the firm responsible, Rob Kennon Architects (RKA), who are based in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Thankfully I also found more imagery of the stunning project, Burnley House to share with you!
Forming part of an open-plan living and dining area, the kitchen flows beautifully to an outdoor dining space. I love the use of marble and black tapware, and the warm richness of the wood. Predominantly monochrome, the mix of grey and black finishes give this home a unique edge and textural depth, while the blue carpet provides an amazing contrast.
Beautiful furniture and striking artworks provide the perfect finishing touches.
