I recently discovered Singulares, an interior and lifestyle online magazine from Spain. Despite not being able to read Spanish, the images alone are incredibly inspiring and it's free to subscribe. They also have a fantastic blog (which can be translated) and it was on here that I came across Objetos Perdidos, "Lost and Found". Located in Madrid, Lost is a creative workshop where sisters Mary Joseph and Cristina Gomez Visedo produce and exhibit beautiful design pieces such as furniture made from reclaimed wood, collages created out of recycled objects, framed photographic images and jewellery handmade from natural materials.
As well as having their own pop up, they were part of the 2012 Madrid In Love pop up store, which I recently featured on the blog. If you missed that post, take a look here.
I'm in love with this design studio. Bright, airy and so much wonderful creativity happening right there on that gorgeous trestle table!
The collage artworks fascinate me and I think I would have a hard time choosing just one!
The handmade jewellery is so lovely, even the packaging makes me swoon!

DeleteHow lovely! Those bar lights are stunning, It would be really cool in an undercover area in my garden. Gorgeous stuff and ideas. Spain is such a creative hub, I'd love to go there again now as a blogger. Mel x
ReplyDeleteAn outdoor feature would look amazing - I hadn't thought of that :-) I have yet to visit Spain. One day! x
DeleteWow! The trestle table is hands down my favourite, and also the 'bar' lights. I've been watching 'The Picker Sister' on ch 12 tonight - it's got a couple of designers off the 'move that bus' programme, and they go on roadies around America finding old junk to turn into amazing pieces. Worth watching! x
ReplyDeleteThat sounds very cool - thanks! x
