THE DESIGN CHASER

Peaches + Keen

10.10.2012

I've seen lots of cool plant hangings lately, so it seemed like a great idea to share them all with you. Then I came across these woven bead and crocheted planters by Peaches + Keen, via The Design Files. So gorgeous are these babies, I decided they needed their own post!

See what I mean? Talk about a colour explosion! Graphic designer Lily Daley and gold and silversmith Lucy Hearn, are the clever ladies behind Peaches + Keen who use their combined skills and 'love of all things bold and bright' to create 'tactile, one-off pieces that make people smile.' They sure put a smile on my face.

In addition to the unique and colourful planters, the Melbourne duo create these quirky embroidered artworks. Fun!

Sure to brighten any outfit, the jewellery range which includes a graphic necklace and collection of earrings is aptly named 'colourific'.

Wouldn't you love to party with these two? (Lily Daley on the left, and Lucy Hearn on the right).

You can see all of their lovable creations over here
