Matthew Williams is a freelance photographer based in New York. I've seen his work in many of my favourite magazines such as NZ House & Garden, Inside Out, Living etc, Urbis and NZ Life & Leisure .. the list goes on and includes some of the best interior publications in the world, not to mention the NY Times. Seriously impressive!!
Prior to moving to New York, where Matthew is having amazing success, he returned to his home town Auckland to take a breather after a seven-year stint working in the advertising industry in London. He also regularly exhibits his art photographs, most recently at NZ galleries Anna Bibby, Graham St and Gubb and Mackie as well as the Riviera Gallery, NYC.
I love how his pictures are simple, yet beautiful as a result of his "natural and honest approach to lighting".
