I recently received an email from Thisispaper announcing the opening of their new Flagship store. Established in 2011, the Warsaw-based design studio specialises in graphic design, art direction, retail design, print publishing and event planning. Also known for their beautiful range of products which are designed and crafted at their studio, their distinctively understated aesthetic carries through to the interior fitout of the new store. Located next to their studio, the rawness of the transparent resin floor is warmed up by the use of birch plywood, with an impressive shelving unit that extends over the entire back wall. Designed and made in collaboration with TYLKO who I featured here, it's the main element of the interior, yet it's white plywood finish blends seamlessly into the minimalist space.
Customers can browse the gorgeous range of goods while tasting high quality Japanese tea and listening to a selection of vinyls played on the Dieter Ram Braun Audio 1 Stereo. Sounds perfect to me.
