Another Ballroom

Founded in Denmark by Karen Maj Kornum, Another Ballroom was born out of a passion for aesthetics, people, cultures, art and interior design. Karen's beautiful home in Frederiksberg showcases a large selection of pieces that are available on the website (where they ship worldwide) or via private showings. Also exhibited in pop-up stores and galleries around Copenhagen, the range includes furniture, design objects, contemporary art and a carefully curated selection of vintage Moroccan rugs. 

Additionally Another Ballroom offers private and public consultation on interiors and art, as well as the complete curation of environments from private residents to large-scale assignments for commercial projects such as restaurants, bars and cafes. Honoured to represent a varied group of fantastic artists and designers, they act as an art advisory, connecting clients to other galleries and interior companies. Able to source Danish and international design, both vintage and new, these include well known brands such as Carl Hansen & Søn, Fritz Hansen, Cassina, Fredericia Furniture, Santa & Cole, Cappellini, Verner Panton, Zanotta, Louis Poulsen,  Artek and Gubi.

Distinctly Nordic in style, the apartment's original architecture, white walls and warm timber flooring provides the perfect setting for showcasing the mix of new, vintage and reworked pieces. The images below show a few of the items for sale. These include one of the handwoven vintage rugs by Azilal, a repurposed, limited edition architect-designed oak table by Nancy Munford and hand-thrown Unika ceramic vases by Tortus.
