Variety Show is a new online shop and graphic design studio located in Southern California. Founded by husband and wife team Amber and Mike Asay, the creative couple specialise in brand identity work and art direction. They also love creating their own work for others to have in their home, and have recently produced their first collection of prints showcasing their love of typography, lettering and illustration. While these debut prints have a distinct Scandi vibe, the couple say that stylistically they strive to bring different cultural stories and eras to their work.
Amber very kindly offered to send me a print and I chose the Shaped Glyphs. I love the clean lines and bold typography, screen printed in black and metallic copper. Striking in a black frame, I chose a white one because I know it will look amazing on my living room picture wall, alongside the other white framed prints.
