This week I discovered the new Secret Boards on Pinterest, which are great if you'd like to keep some pins on the down-low, such as Christmas gift ideas for your friends and family! I started one for blog ideas and it's growing quickly. I also started a new board titled Flowers, because I was pinning so many, especially my favourite flower, the peony. Have you bought any this year? They are so beautiful and only in season here in NZ for another week (if that) so get in quick!

Here are my latest Pinterest moodboards.

I love the blue tones and wanted to inspire fun and relaxation for a wonderful weekend.

When I came across the image of the girl on the fireplace on Pinterest, I knew straight away I would have to use it for a 'midweek dreaming' moodboard!

Black and white with a touch of pink always makes for an inspiring theme.

More weekend inspiration with one of the gorgeous peony images.

Although I mostly pin interiors, with boards categorised into rooms, products and styling, there are many other areas of design that I draw inspiration from. This week I've decided to share with you a few Pinterest boards that get my heart racing.

I love the Design Board of Aaron De Simone, a San Francisco based graphic designer and curator of iheartluxe.com, a little bit of luxury in the form of a newsletter, delivered to your inbox each week.

These images are from the Photography Board of talented graphic designer Ana Deganaar of Blog Milk. A beautiful collection of ethereal images, this board is pure inspiration as are Ana's other boards and her blog.

I started a magazine board because I love magazines and cover images. One of the boards I follow is the Covers Board of Stefania Mancini, a pinner from Rome.

Are there any standout boards that you follow?

  1. I'm planning on using my secret boards for some interior jobs I'm working on at the moment - very handy. I have a gorgeous bunch of peonies right now from my local supplier. So sad that their season is nearly up, they're my favs too. x
