Artist Spot

I recently received an email from Matthew Mancinelli, telling me about his newly established art lifestyle brand Artist Spot. Checking out his site, which acts as an online art gallery, I was excited to discover some great artwork, however it's the concept of his business venture that excites me even more. Pursuing a career as an artist is challenging, and opportunities for exposure are often limited. On the other hand, the cost of purchasing original art can be daunting. Enter Artist Spot. Launched in 2011, the Hollywood based company provides a platform for emerging artists, while at the same time giving art enthusiasts access to affordable art, all via a global online destination.

Artist Spot includes a bio on each of their featured artists, and to say that the calibre is high is an understatement. Not only that, you get to discover what inspires them in their work. Here are a few of my faves - click on the artist's name to take you to their bio and full portfolio.
