New Collections by Nathan + Jac

4.05.2017

Two years ago I introduced you to Nathan + Jac, an online interiors concept founded by three Melbourne-based stylists; Tammy Nathan, Jac Zarkovic and Bec Astrinakis. Offering pre-styled room packages, artwork, cushions and homewares, they have just released two stunning new collections for 2017. Both highly evocative and unapologetically Nathan + Jac, the curated packages take the guess work out of styling interiors by offering customers everything from whole room packages down to individual accessories. These include Nathan + Jac designed cushions and exclusive art, both of which have quickly become key signature pieces of the brand.

The first collection, Cumulus, is inspired by J.R.R Tolkiens's famous words “Not all those who wander are lost.” It's also a personal one for the founders, with ties to New Zealand. ‘Kiwi blood runs through all three of us so we each feel a personal connection to the land.’ Influences include the untamed beauty of lush green pastures and rolling hills, towering sand dunes and rugged coastlines as far as the eye can see. The ethereal and captivating artwork for Cumulus is by landscape photographer and Nathan + Jac favourite Georgina Skinner. A British native who now lives on a New Zealand dairy farm, Georgina has the ability to transport a viewer from the daily grind to beautiful far-flung places.

Inspired by the words of Marilyn Monroe, “Who said nights were for sleep?”, the Provocateur Collection is seductive and sleek in form, and sensuous to touch with beguiling rouge tones and unapologetic sultriness. 19 year old Canadian artist Nastia Cloutier-Ignatiey’s iconic Lip Series forms the bold focal point of the collection and her works are exclusive in Australia to Nathan + Jac.

The beautiful colour palettes clearly pay a big part in bringing the collections to life. For Cumulus, the landscape inspired palette features grassy greens, muted blues and greys, charcoals and sandy beige leathers.

The palette of Provocateur is as bold and unapologetic as the babe who lives here. The bedroom walls create a moody marsala base, while accents of peach, dusty blush, sleek black leather and chic cool grey add polish and sophistication.

Both Collections are available as full room packages, accessory packs, artwork, rugs, lighting and accessories including the signature Nathan + Jac cushions. To see all the options on offer and to shop online, take a look here
