Friday Finds

Apologies for the sporadic posting this week. I've had lots of work meetings, kids cross country and so on. It's been nice to get out of the office but I'm now furiously catching up. I've ended up with several half-finished posts which will come to fruition next week now, because this one has jumped the queue, thanks to some great finds this morning.

As you know I can't resist an innovative shelving system, especially one that comes from Scandinavia. The FLIP bookshelf is a design collaboration between Copenhagen-based architects and designers Kevin Hviid and Mikkel Damsbo for MUNK Collective. A clever design comprising square, hexagon and trapezoid forms, the bookshelf can be configured in many different ways, depending on how you flip them. I'd sure love to have a play! Available in four different colours, the shelves are beautifully styled along with the FRAME trays and HOOKED hangers, two other great products by MUNK Collective

I feel that I haven't been posting enough homes lately but luckily Fantastic Frank always delivers some fresh inspo! These two listings fit nicely with today's white and bright theme.

Lastly, the always-inspiring Lotta Agaton has teamed up with Herman Miller, producer of the classic Eames chairs, to create these incredible images, captured by the talented Petra Bindel

A quick message for Aucklanders before I go.... the Herne Bay Spring Markets are on tomorrow, and it promises to be a fantastic event for locals, the design community, families and anyone looking for a day of shopping, food and entertainment. Pop along to the Wallace Rd Corner Stores between 10am-3pm and you'll find...

Artists talks by Matt Ellwood and Sam Mitchell at Melanie Roger Gallery, muesli served by Pretty Damn Good For You and almond milk from Carew Kitchen at Simon James Concept Store, mini-manicures from Butter London at Tessuti, tastings and gifts with purchase at Father Rabbit, Gin & Tonic served at Kathryn Wilson, and 10% off at The Ivy House. There will also be a Clown for the children’s entertainment, $1 yoga classes at Herne Bay Yoga, new season menu samples at Zus & Zo, and many more special promotions and offers at each shop on the day.

Wow, what an amazing line up. See you there!
