THE DESIGN CHASER

Ferm Living

8.14.2012

Originally a graphic design agency, Danish brand ferm LIVING morphed into an interiors company when founder Trine Andersen was redecorating her home and couldn't find the wallpaper she was looking for at an affordable price. Taking it upon herself to design her own, she launched the first Ferm LIVING wallpaper collection in 2006. From there the company has taken off and now has distributors worldwide.

Ferm LIVING has a very distinctive look. Its signature graphic designs feature throughout the product lines which now include wallstickers, textiles, homewares and even a kids collection. I get so excited when one of my favourite Scandi brands puts out a new range. The Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection was recently launched and it's as gorgeous as ever. I've waited for the dust to settle but I can't hold off any longer. I must share! if you haven't seen it yet you're in for a treat.

'Creative minds, skilled hands, great techniques and a lot of effort is put into each and every single product. We value sustainable and honest materials, high quality and good craftsmanship.' Beautiful Scandi style and outstanding quality. What's not to love?

To see the entire catalogue for the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, take a look here. For online shopping and international delivery, visit their webshop. Ferm LIVING wallpaper is available in New Zealand from Netti & Gee and the Paper Room.

  1. Ferm living has such a cool new collection! I found many favorites I wish I could have in my home, but I have to admit that it's very unusual if I do not find any when looking catalogues of Scandinavian home stuff... :)
