TDC Shop

We arrived back from our holiday yesterday after a wonderful few days in sunny Fiji. Some of you may have seen the photos I posted on Instagram - a pretty amazing place to spend my birthday week. Arriving home to see the boys yesterday was also very special with lots of cuddles while chatting about our trip and the time they spent with their Nana. I managed to schedule in a blog post while away, but dropped the ball with this one due to lack of wifi at the airport yesterday! 



I'm really enjoying curating products for my TDC Shop which has been up and running for several months now. I updated the shop with a few new items before we went away, some of which I've shared here. Keep an eye out for regular updates by clicking on the SHOP link at the top of my blog!

Silke Bonde x The Poster Club

Yesterday I received news of an exciting collaboration between Danish graphic designer and artist Silke Bonde and Copenhagen-based webshop THE POSTER CLUB. Silke, who is well known for her collection 'Blue Water' that I featured here, has created two stunning new art prints Leaf Me and Cove , exclusively for THE POSTER CLUB.  Once again working her magic with water colour, and finding inspiration in the Nordic nature Silke says this about her new prints:  

"With this small collection I wanted to invite the nature inside. Both art prints are inspired by the beautiful ‘skeleton’ you will find in a leaf, always varying from one another and forming its own natural expression and thereby creating small and unique pieces of art... 'Leaf me’ is showing the beauty of the natural lines and patterns you will find in a leaf while ‘Cove’ represents the importance of the water and it’s ability to create life."

For me, these works combine so many elements that I love.... clean lines, delicate textural detail and a lovely organic feel. The beautiful styling against a white backdrop layered with natural materials further enhances their aesthetic appeal, and I am already thinking about where and how I would style them in my own home. I'm sure many of you are doing the same!
