THE DESIGN CHASER

TDC x BoConcept | Part III

8.12.2015

Our BoConcept Carmo Sofa arrived last Friday and I could barely contain my excitement at seeing it in our space for the first time. While there was some nervous anticipation, to be expected with such a big change, I needn't have worried. The colour, material and overall look has exceeded my expectations, providing our living area with a huge boost in terms of quality and style. As for the comfort levels, let's just say it's been a complete game changer. My family and I are all completely enamoured, and looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

When the sofa arrived, I was thrilled to see that the feet had felt covers. In the past we've had to make these ourselves, as they are a must when it comes to wooden flooring. My husband who is particularly fastidious about our wooden flooring was over the moon! Our Friday night in was spent re-arranging the modular pieces, finally settling on one of our favourite configurations.

One of the many features that I love about the Carmo is that it has large, flat edges, perfect for placing items such as books, the TV remote or iPhone, while the kids use it for their toys and lego!

I love the depth and contrast the Carmo gives to our space. It's such a great feeling to see the vision come to life and we couldn't be happier with our new sofa. It's also given me a great excuse to start making some other changes around the room, with artwork, rugs, lighting and coffee tables. Let the fun begin!

To finish off the series next week, I'll be showing you some of the different configurations that can be created with our modular pieces.

  3. Amazing images, also I believe that the chair speaks for itself, meaning that I don't think you need to dramatically change the surroundings... It already looks completely amazing! :)
