The Panton Collection by Montana

There's something I really love about wire furniture, especially chairs. The iconic Harry Bertoia chairs are one of the finest examples and lately I've been pining after the Menu WM String Chairs by Studio WM by Menu. Now I have discovered some more wire goodness from Danish furniture company Montana with their stunning Panton Collection. 

The Panton One chair was designed by Verner Panton in 1955 and relaunched by Montana in 2003. Since then they have gone on to develop a whole family of Panton One chairs, all based on Verner Panton's ideas and designs. This year the Panton One chair celebrates its 60th anniversary with three new frame colours: Black, Snow and Moulin Rouge.

The collection also includes the Panton Wire shelving system by Verner Panton. Raw yet elegant, light yet industrial, the units can be used individually or in combination. Incredibly versatile, they can be stacked on the floor, hung on the wall or used as room dividers.

The Panton Collection is not limited to wire. The classically elegant Panton Table is designed for many uses such as in the kitchen, as a side table in the living room or as a small meeting table. Beautifully simple in its design, the Panton Bachelor  is a versatile lounge chair that can be used for both indoors and out.
