The Minimalist | New Website + Worldwide Giveaway

5.18.2016

Since its launch in 2011 The Minimalist has become a well-loved design store in Australia and beyond. Specialising in unique, limited edition products sourced locally and from around the globe, they have just kicked things up a notch with a gorgeous new website. Designed to be used with ease on all mobile devices, the beautiful new layout carries through to phones, tablets and screens of all sizes. For those familiar with the Sydney-based store, you'll be pleased to see that the site still has The Minimalist signature look and feel you know and love, only now it's even better. With so much on offer, including some exciting new products and features, if you haven't bookmarked them yet, now is the time!

To coincide with the launch, The Minimalist have introduced their own custom-framing. Now when you purchase from their extensive range of Art, Prints + Posters, you can choose to have the artwork framed in either black or white timberAnd as an added bonus they deliver framed prints worldwide!

I'm very excited to see the arrival of some incredible new photographic art prints by Stockholm-based stylist and designer Annaleena Leino Karlsson including Limestone and London Geometric pictured above. Sitting alongside designers including Playtype, Kristina Dam and many more, the hard part is stopping at one!

With a focus on quality, style and utility with a modern handmade touch for your home, you'll find a range of beautiful homewares including ceramics, bedding, lighting and furniture. These include products from local designers such as Zakkia and Page Thirty Three along with top international brands such as Menu, HAY and SeraxThe Minimalist have also become known for their stunning Neo Crocheted Rubber Bowls (a must-have) and beautiful range of textiles by Netherlands-based designer Mae Engelgeer.

The Minimalist owner Leah Taylor not only has an eye for curating beautiful design finds, she knows how to inspire. An interior stylist, her incredible home and studio which are located in Sydney's Surry Hills are evidence of this! For those like me who are always looking for fresh reading material and inspo Leah has included some exciting new website features. These include 'TAKE 7' - a quick Q+A with a fellow creative, 'I MADE', where they photograph and talk to their makers and 'STYLED BY', where they ask stylist to style a few pieces from the store and share their looks. Add to that a new Spotify weekly playlist and feature videos from their Snapchat and the we'll be spoilt for choice!

Now I'm sure you'll be itching to check out the new website, but before you do I have to tell you about a very exciting incentive. To celebrate The Minimalist's new website they are kindly giving away a $250AUD gift voucher to one lucky TDC reader!

To enter, you must visit the new site and pick out one of the products you would spend the voucher on if you won. Then simply click on the link at the bottom of the post which will take you to a form to complete with your name, email address and product pick. One entry per person is allowed.
