THE DESIGN CHASER

New + Noted

2.04.2016

My kids went back to school today so while I am enjoying the peace, the to-do list is long, and I've hit the ground running! First up this morning was a telephone interview with the NZ Herald online, talking all things Instagram for small business, and now a post brimming with beautiful new designs from around the globe. Let's go....

In my last New + Noted post I introduced you to the beautiful Bellevue Lamp by one of my favourite brands, &Tradition. Two more additions to their 2016 collection include the stunning Passepartout wall lamp by Jamie Hayon and Moor Rugs designed by All The Way to Paris

A new discovery for me, Rex Kralj is a furniture company that was founded in 1952. With a focus on simplicity, heritage and craftsmanship, their products are truly beautiful. Recently they teamed up with some talented creatives to produce a catalogue entitled Timeless.  Referencing both past and present, the central theme of Light & Dark is portrayed through the eyes of person going about their day, from morning to night. Together with stunning imagery, the result is simple yet captivating and I highly recommend you pop over here for a look.

by Lassen have launched Rimm, a collection of vases and flowerpots that "invite nature inside." As with the Kubus collection, the beautiful vessels have a graphic starting point but also encompass softer, rounder elements which I love. The colour palette is also very pretty. Recently featured on the blog in this post, Dutch lifestyle brand Crisp Sheets have now released their first capsule collection. This includes a striking range of watercolour posters inspired by the Zodiacs, and a stunning new stonewashed linen collection which I've chosen to share with you today. I absolutely love the colour palettes which make up two reversible duvet sets; Milky Way (grey and black toned duvet set with grey pillowcases) and Supernova (midnight blue and black toned linen with midnight blue pillow cases).
