THE DESIGN CHASER

Natural Selection

8.18.2015

A beautiful palette that always evokes a sense of calm, soft grey and neutral tones are never far from my mind. As smaller accents, they work so well with a white backdrop, but why not go one step further with the walls and furniture? Daniella Witte has styled the new collection of grey-toned Sandberg Wallpapers called 'Forest' to perfection. The first hue is stunning, while the others feature a subtle texture that I also really love. The addition of natural wood and touches of black add further warmth and contrast.

Some more beautiful styling that has caught my eye lately, all with neutral colours and natural materials including wood, rattan and wool.

I love these natural ceramics and interesting textures in neutral tones...

I've always said I'd love to build a big barn-like holiday home with a simple, plywood interior. Going straight to my inspo folder is this gorgeous holiday cottage belonging to the talented Minna Jones of Time of the Aquarius. Always so clever at sourcing vintage and flea market finds, I love the timeless Scandinavian furniture and lighting that Minna has chosen for the the incredible light-filled space.
